Myspace:
The aim of the myspace project was to create a model made of plywood that was a 1:5 representation of a 'personal' space.
For me a personal space would be an escape, somewhere I could go and hide and feel I was somewhere else. The space would have screens on the floor, walls, and ceilings of a place far away from that of the existing environment.
The design of Myspace opposed the way in which our vision works and forces the user to focus on the screens.
Part of the brief included having to use plywood to create the model. I used the plywood to firstly create a frame before adding layers of plywood within this.
